The McCarton Foundation recognizes the incredible ability that exists within people on the autistic spectrum. Empowering through education, they help young people on the autistic spectrum realize their full potential and celebrate their extraordinary talents.
Every day they work to transform lives through: (i) The McCarton School, where they continue to achieve unprecedented success in educating young people with autism, (ii) Research, as they further develop their methodology by testing new strategies and techniques to teach people on the autistic spectrum more effectively, (iii) Training professionals and parents—locally and abroad—how to use the knowledge they gain, and (iv) Inspiring Events, where they celebrate the remarkable talent possessed by autistic youth
The McCarton Foundation has been recognized internationally as a leader in autism education by numerous organizations and foundations such as Autism Speaks and the Reach for the Stars Learning Center as well as academic institutions such as Yale, New York University, and Cornell.
Board meets four nights a year on the upper east side. Financial commitment is significant. Current board is listed on website and includes a Managing Director at GCA Savvian, the Co-head of Private Capital Investing at Goldman Sachs, the founder of ENK International, the founder of Monness Crespi Hardt, the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Trevi Health Capital, and a Director at Standard & Poor among others.
