BoardAssist Junior Board Summit
Join us for BoardAssist’s Junior Board Summit – a meeting of junior board members from across the country coming together to discuss junior board best practices especially with respect to diversity, equity and inclusion in the junior board space.
What steps can your junior board take to ensure diverse voices are heard at the board table? What fundraising efforts have been most effective for your Associate Board? How do high energy junior boards maintain that energy and fully engage their teams as well as onboard new members? How can young professionals boards educate the nonprofits they support in the latest ways to communicate to reach new friends? What are some of the ways junior boards have been particularly impactful to the nonprofits they serve? We look forward to a robust conversation on all these topics and more.
The Junior Board Summit will be an important first step for the many among you who seek to forge new friendships across the nonprofit community. Making connections between amazing people and terrific nonprofit boards has always been the primary mission of BoardAssist through the personalized board matching work we do. Creating new dialogues between our board placements and other high impact nonprofit junior board trustees makes the whole nonprofit community stronger.
The Summit will be a wonderful opportunity for those already sitting on a junior board to learn from other impactful junior board members, as well as a unique way for those considering nonprofit board service to learn more from others who are already effecting change.
We hope to see you January 13 from 7:00-8:30 pm for a meeting of some of the nonprofit community’s best emerging leaders. Register here.
Can’t make the Summit? Perhaps you would enjoy watching a recording of the October Summit we recently held for full board members?
